Thanks :)

It was taken through a large plate glass window, so the picture is a little distorted, but I'll try and get better stuff tomorrow...it's really a beautiful area of Michigan here.

Cheers, eh...

Actually, it's not as cold as that image might make you think, it's around 32°F.

It was a LOT colder last week, we've been seeing some mild freezing rain today.

Weather calls for:
25° F tonight.
27° F tomorrow
22° F tomorrow night (nippy, eh :D )

Cheers...

I spent 22 years as a GM dealership automechanic....we all HATED the snow, it'd drip down the backs of our uniform collars as we walked under the cars...salt was even more fun

Unfortunately I don't have a good one to take shots with at the moment. We'll see how much my Christmas bonus is tomorrow. Maybe Santa will be generous enough to get me at least a basic digcam for now. I'd go for a Nikon, but trying to save up for a used pickup truck for the summer.

Very nice photo. It's a bit low on contrast with the overcast sky (what can you expect in snow anyways? :-P) I really think the pontoon boat makes it though, just, lack of a better word, chilling there among all the snow covered branches.
