just a finished 3d model of a pen i have just completed. C&c wanted. It was rendered and modelled with realsoft. It took about three hours to render.

the detail in it is awsome!, can i ask what program you used?..., simply that fact that you said it took three hours to render astounded me...but with the amount of detail in the image, it is no suprise.

yeah thanks for your opinions.

Here are some details about this thing, since people seem abit interested.

1. Rendered and modelled with realsoft 4.2

2. The whole pen was modeled by using NURBS techniques.

3. I used a bump mapping to engrave the parker name into the metal end of the pen.

4. It basically took about 4 hours to model, since i am very slow.


I shall post one of my car models i am working on, when i get it finished. Its great to see that there is quite alot of talent on these boards.

Wow. I am, as usual, blown away by the quality of work posted by graphic artists in this forum. That pen is just fantastic, very realistic. The highlights and texture are incredible. Definatly post your other work, I would love to see it!

Very good job man! That is perfect! The only thing I will mention is that the pen tip isn't clearly defined enough, I think it needs some ink or a copper color or something to make it stick out a bit more! But all in all absolutly loverly!
