Pretty cool, I like the coloring, but needless to say the chicks top doesn't fit because it's the only 3D fill in the whole picture.

What version of Illustrator are you using? You should check out the gradient mesh tool. I think it came out in 9, not sure.

Im using CS. It must be stated im a nOObish to Illustrator.

What is the gradient mesh. I think I played with it before.

I want to make the shading better.

Also, you may want to spend some time getting to know how to use the Bezier tools more. Just a guess here, it look like you've drawn everything in one shot, and not edited your paths much.
