Photo Banner

I was wondering if you guys could give me a couple things to try with photoshop. I wanted to make a nice banner with my picture on it or say just make a picture of me look cool. Are there any tools in photoshop you guys could suggest? I don't know too much about photoshop.

I don't know of any tool in photoshop that can make "you" look cool. j/k That was a horrible joke. Sorry.

Okay so... first work on making a great picture of yourself. A core rule is to start with the best and make it better. Then clean up blemishes(acne/red blotches/very porous skin) with a combination of the healing brush, rubber stamp, and general blurring. Then you will have the best image of yourself to work from. You may want to use the dodge and burn tools to whiten the whites of the eyes and your teeth. And also correct any eye glare or glare on glasses you are wearing.

Jaw, I wasn't talking about changing my appearence (althought those things do sound cool).

I meant like making it look warped and stuff other than the filter stuff lol
