On a website, it is a good idea to check to see you have the image route inputed properly.

If you were to be more specific with where you are getting the "red x" and what you are trying to do then perhaps i might be able to help you out more.

But if its an image on your website there are Three things you should check...

Check that the image is actually uploaded onto your website

Check to see when you are creating the image tag on your HTML (if thats what you are using) that you are typing in the correct route E.G - <img src="/images/test.jpg">

If you are doing the above, be sure you have the right extension. If its a "gif" file then make sure you have .gif at the end. If its a JPG then be sure you have .jpg at the end etc etc.

This could be one of a million things...

Image is not JPG format and you referenced a JPG.

Image is not GIF format and you referenced a GIF.

It could be a corrupt image.

The URL may be wrong.

You uploaded through FTP in ASCII format when you should've done Binary format.

Can you elaborate a little more on your issue? What you just did was basically the equivalent of calling an auto place and saying "My car won't start, what's wrong with it?"
