quick photoshop question

there are a few different effects i see a lot, but i do not know what they are

one is a lot of diagonal lines like /////////////////////////// close together and across the full picture

also things like small boxes using crosses TTTTTTTTT like that but smaller across the whole picture


if i find samples i will post.

yeh uuuuuum, those are not effects. Thats just something you will have to ad yourself, like you did in your post.

I think you're just talking about patterns. I use them alot to add texture. Give me a minute to find u a tutorial..
