I am not usually a 35mm user, but I went to a camp up at Syracuse University for a week called School Press Institute. I took an advanced photography class there where I had the honor to be taught by Mike McLean, an excelent photojournalist. These pictures however are not photojournalistic ones, sorry :-P

Those were interesting, I liked the pile of garbage. It's cool that you got to go to an advanced photo class. I've been trying to get into creative photography at my school but it fills up fast.

Thanks guys :)

Shrew, yea it was well worth it, if you wanted to pay the plain ticket fee I'm sure you could come up next year :-) ;-) . It was quite the experience, classes would meet for about 7 or so hours each day, with breaks for lunch and dinner. Very cool :-D

Plane tix are a bit expensive for that far, but if I really wanted it, maybe my parents would chip in. Do you think it'd be worth the trip? Is it like a camp with housing provided or something?

yeah you stay up at the college, you'd probably have to be in a newspaper/yearbook/lit magazine club at your school though.

#3 is the best. love the angle, love the perspective. Nice shot there.
#1 is also good. the colors make it. the others 2 are ok, nothing special
