i am happy to have found an open forum, where people are
interested in sharing art

so i would like to present you some fotos on my website

http://de.geocities.com/andreasbuechel/wasserschau.html

which i made with a digitalcamera and a glass filled with water

i would very much like to read from some of you, how
the composition, the arrangement on the site, which
picture after which... and generally what thoughts and
or feelings come up by seentroughwater

wish you all the best

you know seentroughwater: I think this is a fascinating idea shooting through water. I may even hijack the idea for my own photos. (not to make money on, of course)

Please continue to share!!! A lot of webmasters get so stuck in the technical side of things, that the "artistic" side becomes a casualty.

Thumbs up to you.

i tried to get some of my sisterbrothers plants, trees, rivers
into my focus while seeing trough a glass filled with water
it makes me so much fun to do that looking
to do the photography is a bit more gymnastic or balancing exercise,
in one hand the glass full of water, in the other the camera, lying on the earth or standing in a weired position
and its a good feeling, to be able to composite some of the visible
material forms and let them be interacting with the movements of the
water, the much changing sunlight, a flame of a candle and many more
parables which add to this a sort of art, bringing something invisible
into a material, visible image

Hey there Andreas, welcome to Ozzu... You've got some great photos there and you've certainly given me an idea or twoto play around with... What kind of camera equipment do you use?
