shrink is size

is there a way i can make my pictures smaller in size and bytes??? i hav huge files where sumtimes if opend computer crashes...any advice

If you have phpotshop then go to save as , and then reduce the size by changing the format or you can change or alter the quality a bit .
If you are talking about the size you can go to image adjustments > image size and change its size.

....my computer has a mind of his own he crashes wheneve he wants to lol....it crashes sometimes. i guess when i hav other apps open thanks 4 caring

wat is the smallest format i can go for....or the most common used one...im trying to get this picture online but theres size limits...im not sure what they are bcuz the sites been down for a min.

If you can open the image in Photoshop or something similiar, go to the file menu and select Save for Web - you can then save the image as a jpg, but you can reduce the quality which will make the filesize smaller.

It has a preview screen so you can see how the image will look and if you have reduced the quality too far.
