It just keeps everything the same and so we dont have huge sigs that push things off the screen, also helps the page load stay quick for all users

if he was gonna use it here, fine...
i like what you have done with the colouring, i would probably take out the lil techy stuff, thats so last millenium
(takes the focus off the nice colouring and composition you have going) and take off the effects on the font. will give it a more modern and less tacky feel. looking good though
