Posting up a sample of some of my photographs. Taken with Nikon FM10 using Ilford HP5 Plus black and white film, and printed on Ilford RC Deluxe Paper. Keep in mind the scan quality does not show, by any means, the extent of the detail and correct brightness of the print. Hope you guys like the prints of this "objects" series

Ahhhh, another Nikon fan!

Great photos Starqueen, did you break that plate on purpose? Or was it an accidental break that you thought would make a cool photo and grabbed the camera before you cleaned it up? ;)

i broke it on purpose, but dont tell anybody ;) ... that photo is part of a photo project for school, fit the theme of poverty and grief and such, hehe. thanx for the comments.

yeh the nikon was just the cheapest camera i could buy at the time, but i really like the full manual.. only thing id want is a zoom

Yeah, fully manual is good... Fortunately, I can still do that when I want to with my N90s and D100 Nikons, although even in manual I do usually keep TTL/D-TTL Flash on rather than manual flash.

I've been experimenting a little with the D100's built-in flash, as well as the SB-50DX, but they're just way too powerful in manual mode for some of the close-up work I'm doing..

It looks like dM may have some competition here for the B&W photos now... again, very nice work (and, stick with Nikon )

Starqueen, what’s the object #10, I don’t have a clue of what it does? Is it a suspended candle holder?

The object #4 is a nice picture by the way!!!

unflux: thanx, ill post more when i find time to print more ;)
cool#9: yeh the point really wasnt for anyone to be stuck on what an object is but like it for its shape or volume or suttin, but the object is a glass thingie that hangs from the cieling and holds a candle... wish that was in color! grr

As soon as Nikon release a 40MP Digital SLR with a full-size 35mm sensor, I'll give you my D100, how's that sound? ;)
