thanks. i appreciate the feedback.

of these two, the face was completely illustrator (of course, i had a photo to go by, i'm not about to claim i did it "freehand") and the Alice was drawn on paper and redrawn in illustrator, which is usually what i do. if i'm using Illustrator. since i'm not super fast with Illustrator, i usually just ink my art and quickly color it in PShop... i only use the 'Strator when i have the time and patience for it. i'll post more later...

thanks again

Harsh critique, hows this. That girl looks nothing like Alice. For starters, her hair color is off a shade or two, and the real Alice is a freak, her dress should be slightly above the knee, you left out her small vile of acid that made her think she was small and could talk to animals, and she should not have hands like Barney Rubble. How was that. :) Now if you said that was Goldy Lockes, then right on, that shist tight, keep up the good work, but you didn't, so back to the drawing board, dude. We're eager to see what you'll try to pass off next, lol. Peace. :)

Bob,

Not much on the the top piece but the "Alice" piece has potential for much more. Ever think of Re_doing the Lewis illustrations in your own style?

Love Illustrator

Those are some good illustrations. I admire your work. Is it hard to draw those?

holy... i forgot about this thread. oh... hey, i'm bob. i couldn't for the life of me remember my username ("bob" how f**king hard is that?) so i just created a new one. then i remembered i had created this thread... and now i feel stupid for having two usernames.

meh, i'll just use LobsterBobster.

anyways, i just started another thread for my art... "art of a viking warlord" or something... umm... i am acting like such a n00b aren't i? well, i have returned to the world of forums, so I'm going to try and stick around longer this time. sorry.

ps. thank you for all the kind words, everyone. i do appreciate it.
