Man, Terragen makes some damn fine pics - the skies it produces are absolutely outstanding...

That one looks very Tattooinesque.. You can almost imagine the pod racers whizzing past you on the right toward the gap in the mountains up ahead, hehe.

People are becoming very talented with Terragen. The skies, in my opinion were always excellent. He had a hard time with water for awhile, but finally got that too. I think when he finally releases the full version, I'm going to register it for commercial use. I haven't played with it in a year or so, but I'd like to get back into it. My old computer would take almost 3 hours to render an image. Now my new one does them in about 10 minutes or so. Makes it much more enjoyable.

//I picked this one today for my current wallpaper - http://haunter.student.utwente.nl/terra ... ge_id=4315

Mine take hours, but I'm just real picky, and I've gotta render 'em in like 6400x4800 resolution, so that I can resize 'em down to 1600x1200 and have things crystal sharp.

The name of the extraordinary artist Escher had been mentioned some time ago, this work is in a similar vein.
