Have you met Taylor Hewitt? I think you two would make a couple...hmm...
I'd love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

Yes... Taylor is actually a good friend of mine. I'm not sure what you meant by that comment...

And thanks for doing the pics for me. I did notice though some of it appears to be 'eaten up' by the editing process. Dont know what happened there. It might be a nice effect in black but it definitely doesnt look good on white and I plan to let people choose prefered background, text, and link colours on my site.

Sorry mate but that is the best i could do, i think you have to think of another solution for your problem regarding different backgrounds. Or maybe someone is kind enough to do a better job then me

You should get yourself some editing software, you can pick up older versions of Paintshop for free or try something like Gimp.

It's my expierence when making text objects transparent the overall effect is not what you had in mind, if you want to use different colored backgrounds and use the logo on them you should be using some sort of script that automaticly places the logo with the matching background because i don't think a good transparent result with the specific logo you provided is possible.

I also don't know if a script is available for this kind of image swapping but PHP is very versatile, only it is not my strongest point (don't know it entirely for that matter) so maybe someone else could tell you if this is possible.

Personally I think you should just remake the image, one for a black background and one for white.

If Photoshop is too difficult for you to use then PhotoImpact is an easy to use alternative, you can download the free trial version here http://www.ulead.com/pi/runme.htm

Yes but I plan to have it so they can set any colour not just those two and its very difficult to make it for all of them.

And I think Ill finish the logos using Game Maker 6. It allows you to use, edit, or make gifs for what your objects look like.
