Does anybody have CorelDRAW 10? Because I have it and it's this $600 program that doesn't seem to be all that great, and I want to see it in action to see if it's actually worth my time or if I should just get another program. :?:

You know, I'm not even sure what Corel Draw is supposed to do. Is it a Vector program like Adobe Illustrator or a Pixel program like Adobe Photoshop?
What I'm trying to get at here is that Adobe is the de-facto standard for graphics, Print, web or video. Some shops use Corel, so I assume they're pretty good, but I'll stick to Adobe.

It's a vector program like Illustrator. I have corel 10 but I haven't used it since I installed it. It's a powerful program, the newest version is really good I just don't do a lot of vector. I'd take the time out to play with the tutorials in the help section to pick up the basics. Have you ever used any other vector based software? If you're used Illustrator before you shouldn't have too many problems working with draw.

I am taking classes at my school for the Corel Suite. Corel Draw is a pretty good program. Its not hard to learn and is pretty powerful but I would still prefer to use Illustrator.
