I went to Luddington, Michigan (located on the west side of michigan, on Lake Michigan.) for vacation a week or so ago, and happened catch some pictures on a rare event.

Well, it's not to often that you see this. I am lucky that it happened while I was on vacation there.

Michigan is great. I love Mackinaw Island, where Lakes Huron and Michigan meet.

Great photos PluTunium.

No kidding. I was wondering if that was some special dock, or if someone had just screwed up BIG time.

handy advice for photo's.

Some of the pics you have taken seem to be a little less the right contrast.

one photo in there is really good, it does not have the grey effect over it. Could use a little more saturation of color to brighten the image. the one with the skipper sanding the bottom of the boat . the water looks great in that shot.

These pictures weren't taken to be artistic, they are just any regular picture.

IS it not better to have done the best work for all kinds of works ? ...

I like to succeed in all areas concerning art .. wether or not they are for art it is still something you are creating ... and pride is always shown in everything and things that you show other people so to me... it is better to succeed in all formats of art. Um......... it was a vacation. Maybe I'm wrong, but he took the pictures for the memory, not for the "artistic thrill." No offense, but Plutunium is GOOD at picture taking, and if I were on vacation, I'd just blast a roll of film of random stuff I like, and not spend 10 minutes getting the perfect shot. He just posted those pictures to share his vacation with us, not to compete with others.........

Um......Plutunium, if I'm wrong then I will officially apologize, but until then........... ;)

Well that is how it went. I just snapped pics of the boat because it is funny. Nothing really artistic.. But it doesn't matter.

Thanks for the replies!
