Whatis the artist process?

Hello Everyone,

Can anyone examine this piece of artwork and maybe break down the process? My biggest question is what method this person used to put together this collage! Are the elements in the design hand drawn or actual photos digital manipulated to look like hand drawn artwork?

Thank you for any replies, I'm stumped on how to achieve the same results.....

I'd be quite interested in finding this out too by the way. Good question.

I'll try to explain:

Step 1:
Find some pictures and put them together in one image:



Step 2:
Add some effects. I've made this one a bit blue.


Step 3:
Add a new layer, paint it black and write a letter (or more) on it:


Step 4:
Arrange the letters, and select them with a lasso tool. Now cut them out. Add some text underneath.
Here's the result:




I know, it's not a good outcome but otherwise it would take me to much time Practice yourself and you'll get good outcomes.
