I was asked by an audio company to make a skin for Windows Media Player - I have made skins for programs before - but the programs I made skins for before just had a folder with art files I could open in Macromedia Fireworks and alter to my liking. I didn't see that with WMP - if anyone could help - perhaps a quick chat session on AIM or MSN - it would be greatly appretiated...

Browse to c:\program files\windows media player\skins

Copy any of the wmz files in there to another location, rename it to whatever.zip and open it with winzip, and extract it to the location of your choice.

use the *.js (javascript file) and *.wms (windows media script, I think. Either way, it's just a text file) files as guides.

I don't know much about the wms scripting language, or any of that, but thought this might help get you started.
