zooming in and fixing it

you know in those shows like csi where cops might take a picture and then they take it to a computer and zoom in closer and closer and then it gets very pixelated and then the computer fixes the pixels???? is there softeware i can get to do it with or can photoshop help me??? basically i have pictures and when i zoom in its too messed up to see anything i want to fix that...any1 catch my drift or see where im going with this???

Pure fiction. That kind of software doesn't exist, at least in the way they portray it on TV. It's just a plot device.

Best thing to do is just zoom in, play around with the pixels and keep checking it until it looks ok at actual size.
