40gig HD no detectar a PII mobo?

Mi WD 40.0g disco duro no obtener recogido por mi placa base Asus slot1. Esta unidad se detecta y obras / botas en todos los otros sistemas, i tienen (aunque son más nuevos)

El slot1 mobo recoge y corre mi cdrom y 6 gig hd.

He intentado todas las posibles selecciones de puente, intentó ide secundaria, etc etc...

También intentó entrar en el hd información manualmente en bios
255 cabezas, 63 sectores, 4865 cil

Cualquier ideas en cuanto a lo que puedo hacer?

¿Has intentado cambiar hacia el otro canal IDE?

Son los dos canales habilitado en el BIOS?

Sí, como he mencionado, se efectuará la recolección de mi cdrom, así como un concierto en coche 6 i han...pero la 40gig sólo se cuelga en la detección.

Ambos canales IDE recoger a mi CD-ROM, así como una unidad de actuación 6 i tener sin ningún problema.

No recogerá la 40gig. Ive probado solo en el cable, todas las configuraciones de puente, etc etc...También cambiaron los cables IDE diferentes.

Y el disco duro es bueno, como mis otros 3 sistemas de recoger y arrancar el sistema operativo no hay problema.
