No errors at all. The funny thing is the computer doesn't restart, it just shuts down. I power it back on and it boots back up and starts printing from page 1, after about 10 or so pages it shuts down again. If I power the printer off before printing begins, the pc works fine.

hmmm. it's not HP, it's a unit I built. I'll try printing lesser pages and see what happens.

Still having no luck, I took the hard drive out and made sure it was in properly, made sure it's booting from hard drives. NO built in NIC cards present. Should I try reloading windows? Or is that of no help?

yea there isn't a floppy disk in the drive. Actually the floppy is external and isn't even connected to the laptop
