thanks for your comments, I've added the bgcolor to the body (I've made that mistake in the past and for some reason I keep doing it) as for my style sheet I'm leaving that as it is for now, the blue color is not the default, its actually defined - it's a sort of pastel blue which i think goes with ...

I have not done much work on it so I know it's not great but I'd like help prioritising what are the major problems that need fixing.

I need help with my site its a free to list uk shopping directory ( zoink uk shopping directory ) and I need to promote it fast but on a low budget where is the best place to start (other than PPC)?

that graphic at the top is larger in KB size than ideally the whole page should be you need to resize and crop it a bit, also you should reduce the height of that iframe (or get rid of it entirely)

You could do with using a tidier font like verdana or something but thats down to taste I guess, also you have a lot of text close together I can imagine it being a bit overwhelming for some people.
