it's no linkage problem....
put a 'this._lockroot = true;' in your child-movie on the first frame... for more info read about it in help-contents...

yepp.. what lostinbeta said.. but with this knowledge you can write a prototype to capitalize a TEXTFIELD... with lostinbeta's method you capitalize the string WHEN parsing it into the textfield.. but with a prototype you can capitalize a WHOLE textfield whenever you want ;) just some mind-candy :P

there are no tutorials that would fit your needs too 100%.. I don't even have to say that - you should know that already.. I agree with CXLink that you can use something simple as Swish... but my two cents would be a little different.. I strongly advise you to EXPIREMENT with Flash.. you can also ge...

it is indeed possible just as Jaw said.. but in this case you should create an xml-file... it all depends on what kind of data and what kind of datagrid you want. the structure of the xml file will depend on that.. you can also put some variables in a TXT file, but it would be a little harder to str...

there is no way you can save a file without third party tools like Zink.. check Macromedia Website for more info

Ever tried opening the Properties panel with the Line-tool selected??
(hint: where you change the thickness of the line you can also change it's look)

it's a path-problem.. yer listCol is created as a String.. as I understand it's a TextField.. trace-debug the whole thing..
