Hey, I'm working on a web application where users send mail from their desktop email cient. I'm using mailto links that specify a subject and body to achieve this, but they are coming out very long, thousands of characters. It seems that, on windows with outlook express, mailto links longer than a f...

Hey Here is my problem. I need to access my ISPs mail server when on a wifi hotspot. My ISP uses unencrypted POP. Also, I'd like to be able to send messages, again using my ISPs mail server, on an insecure connection that is NOT with my ISP. My ISP uses an unauthenticated SMTP server, but it can onl...

This sounds to me like a hardware problem. I suggest running apple hardware test. Some macs have apple hardware test included on a seperate CD. Boot off that by inserting the disk, and turning on the mac while holding down the C key. If he doesn't have a seperate CD, get him to insert Mac OS install...

heh...bad luck for me, i got lucky with the generic psu in my current pc - its a 350W ATX, but the 12V rail is rated at 16A - whcih is apparently higher than on some 450W PSUs. Its been on pretty-much non-stop for the past two years without a problem. But here in Australia I can't find those adapter...

thing is...a 24 pin PSU is $70 (AU), which is the same I was going to pay for the whole case...which INCLUDES a 400W ATX PSU, but that's only 20 pins :(

I'll see if i can get one of those adapters.

thanks.

Question, is it OK to plug a 20 pin ATX power connector into a 24 pin socket? Will it still work ok?

Thanks.

i remember doing an assignment on this back in high school...and here in Australia the law states that someone cannot be discriminated against on the basis of, among other things, appearance. I think length of hair falls under appearance. Biostall, look up the UK's anti-discrimination or whatever ac...
