ActionScript cursor effect

Hi
Does anyone know ofa tutorial somewherer on the web that shows how to do the effect shown on http://www.totsbots.com/ ?
When you move over the box on the far left at has a cool effect where stars start flying around & stuff..

i think they are using the attachMovie onRollOver ...
if you worked with particles before u will get the idea ...

Im a complete newbie when it comes to that stuff; can you post some links with more info on "particles"?
