Ahmed posted this at kirupaForum a long while back. I don't use it often, but it comes in handy when dealing with a lot of code since it allows you to collapse your function code blocks so only the line that starts the function is visible. In the screenshot you see the + in the circle and next to it it says "MovieClip.prototype.......", this shows the declaration of the function, but it has it collapsed so the code isn't taking up space, you can then click the plus sign to expand it and check out the code. Very nifty feature.

It works pretty much like a more advanced external version of the Actions panel in Flash. And you can save the code as an .as file so that instead of copying and pasting it all into Flash you can use #include to import the actions into Flash upon publishing.

It is just an actionscript editor. So instead of writing/editing your actions and such in the Flash actions panel, you can write/edit them in SciTEFlash which supports more abilities like collapsable code blocks and such.
