Hi all

I didn't realise how annoying IE is until IE7 lol, I'm making a simple banner for a website, but I'm getting the big yellow bar in IE "Click to active this Active-X Control" When I run the site locally.... I've tried every javascript fix I can find but none of them seem to work.

I have it working for when i put the site online. But for a University Assignment I need to run the site from a disk. I have a funny feeling that I am going to get the "Click to activate" rubbish when a marker runs it locally, they should understand this but I am hoping to not have this problem.

Any idea's?

Thanks
Nuc

When the yellow bar pops up, that usually means there's an Internet Explorer setting (Tools > Internet Options) making it do that, not somthing in your controll within the page.

They'll probably be expecting that yellow bar to popup anyway.
