AVI in Flash

hey guys
does anybody know how to implement external media player (for example: DivX or WinMediaPlayer od QuickTime) inside the flash document ?
the problem is that i know how to use flash media controller to play .flv files but i'm not happy with quality which is lost due to converting movie from .AVI. there is the tool made by FlashJester called JAvi to create player inside the flash document which is able to play most of the media formats, but i don't have this software. can anybody give me a hint how to place .AVI file inside the flash with full control over the movie and with original (.AVI) sound and video quality ?

Nope, I guess the quality loss is compulsory since it reduces file size. You can, however use some program to convert the video into a series of jpeg's or something then import them into flash.

For such converting I prefer to use Video to Flash Converter. I think it's really good in quality and features. I downloaded it from here:

Sorenson's Spark compressor gives you a lot better control over the quality of the flv file if you wanted to try that.
