I am looking for a slick invisible way to detect low bandwidth users. I have seen various loader ideas, where you download a 100kb Jpeg with loadClip .... but to me this seems like It would really make dial up users angry......or the new Dial up....Verison/TMobile/Att Air Cards.

No I noitice that Google Analytics can detact bandwith, is it better to dot si check outside of flash? Any ideas how to do this in a low impact format?

Perhaps this isnt the best soulution, What I have done is one the first few Queries I have set a tester that counts the seconds before a response comes back ... i it is passed a certian threshhold I stopAllSounds.

bad idea? kind of cheesy I think, but at least I am not testing for low bandwidth by using it.
