I am using MP3 files directly in frames of Flash MX. This is for training CDs, and I need to use the sound files this way so I can sync it up with the animation. I am getting word that the sound comes through differently on different machines. Some are missing clips, others sound distorted, etc. Any suggestions on how I can buffer or pre-load the sound? Is there any alternative which may be better?

If you want them to sync, set them to "stream" instead of event -- or are you, already?
