This is more of a rant than anything, but it seems way too laborious to make a mp3 player in flash. Anyone out there seen any good tutorials that are simple? :D

*More specifically using Flash's already made components and some buttons to bind with an xml playlist....that's what I am working to do now.

hmm... I wonder about using a cheap computer, a flash 16GB hard drive and loading your media files onto it. A bit bulky but... I think(from info I have gathered) that some sort of a computer is needed to play MIDI's or an expensive machine that specializes in MIDI's.
I LOVE MIDIS. Weep.

That's a little off topic... don't you think?

I use this on one of my websites which requires a player for an mp3 file. I like it because you can select the full player or a slimline version.

It gets my  for easy installation!
