hello please i need to know if flash can be used for a full 2d animation video. if it is possible please i wish to know how or links to websites that i can get information about it. also examples of 2d animation videos done with flash.

Flash can be used for animations, http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/ is a good site with loads of flash movies.

you can but dedicated 2d apps like Adobe After Effects or Apple Motion will get you a lot more professional results.

Sod after effects, go to this site http://www.tutorialized.com/ and check out the tutorials, then go to http://www.cartoonsmart.com and pay for some of justins tutorials, they are freakn amazaing.

I got like 7 of them, they are long, but soo worth it.

It depends on how you plan on creating the aniamtion. Is it done already (pencil or another medium) or are you asking what app you should use to create your animation? If it's already done and you just want to know what app you should use to put your animation together and convert it to a final format then I would suggest using After Effects. But, if you need to create your animation then I would suggest using Illustrator. Flash animation is cool, I guess, I've never really created any actual art work within the app myself so I don't know how good it is for that sort of thing. I know that many of the flash animation I've seen look like computer generated cartoons, which do not appeal to me, although I have found some that are really funny.

flash is super sweet because it can animate and create things that are totally realistic.

It can do cartoons, or it can do corporate, or even things that look like real life. Mix that with actionscript and becomes the best purchase in the world
