- Hello, I'm new to this forum, and as the topic title indicates, I wish to know if one can create a button in flash and import it into a fireworks png. file. Furthermore, how is this done (if it can be done). Thanks!

No. All the functions used in actionscript doesnt have any equivalence in fireworks or html (which are the file format its exported in).

- Thanks for the info. One more question. When I export the fireworks file, it creates a dreamweaver file (for the HTML). I am able to edit the site further in dreamweaver, so if I create a button in flash how can I import it into a certain space in dreamweaver?

If you publish your file instead of export it creates a html page with your movie and code already in place for you. Open the page in DW and just grab the code and paste it into the page where you want it to be.

Perhaps not the best way, but works for me.

Regards,
