Trying to create the effect of clouds moving on a sky blue background for a small banner design. Having problems making it look real! Any one have any hints or know any good tutorials? Thanks in advance for any help.

Photoshop..

Filter -> Render -> Clouds :)

Or grab your camera on sunny day.

Or, check out Terragen, that renders some REALLY realistic clouds, but it can take a while :)

Wow! Someone else who knows about Terragen. I have to echo that. The clouds are very realistic. You just reminded me, I hadn't reinstalled that since my last format. Thanks.

Yeah, Terragen's a NEAT piece of kit. I still prefer Vista Pro for its ease of use compared to the results, but with work, Terragen can produce AMAZING images that puts Vista Pro to shame.
