Hello,

I would go to

http://www.actionscript.org

and run through their supplied tutorials. Good luck!

Your link for you zip file does not work.

another good place to begin learning flash is http://www.kirupa.com and
http://www.flashkit.com. Both of which, like actionscript.org, provide a lot of
great tutorials and information.

Personally, I prefer kirupa.com. enjoy :)

the reason im guessing noone has given u a legit answer is because it is sort of like feeding the bear, instead of teaching it to hunt...

if your link worked though i would provide the info u wanted... i didnt really understand what u needed.. maybe a code at the end of your test02.swf that played or stopped on the second frame of the main timeline...

this would be the last frame of your loaded swf->

to play 2nd frame forward:
_parent.gotoAndPlay(2);

or to stop

_parent.gotoAndStop(2);

if you want the loaded swf to unload just add this at the end as well:

unloadMovie(this);

there is a new syntax for this for flash 7 that is much more efficient, i do not recall it right now but i suggest you learn that instead from the links the other guys provided...

my opinion on this kind of help, is that we give the answer and they use
it, but never really learn it and understand. Of course I could have given
the answer like you did, but it seems to me that he needs to learn a little
more about how flash works first.

In the meantime, he can learn why it's used, and not just what it is.

In my humble opinion you are all being snobs, why can't you help a fellow person out

elibol did give a simple answer.
At the end of your loaded movie's timeline write actionscript for the parent or _root to goto frame 2.

Now surely that helped.
