convert avi to flash on server

I am looking for a way to convert uploaded .avi files to flash documents automatically on my web server (similar to the way Utube and Google Video does). I have a shared hosting account with my hosting provider. The site I am working on is in PHP. Any information or leads would be great. Thanks. Jason
