convert .swf???

I've come accross some cool flash banners but i need to change the text thats on them can this be done once they've already been converted to .swf??

once a flash file has been exported and compiled into an swf, you cannot edit it without the .fla file.

I'm not accusing you of anything, but did you actually create the banners
yourself? it sure sounds like you didn't and I would strongly caution
you to "borrowing"someone else's work. It's just not cool.

I agree I got alot of banners off ebay ages ago and i just found them again although they had cool effects they all said naff text like "buy know" and "bid with confidence" i just wonderd if they could be changed

There are SWF decompilers that can take any SWF and decompile it into a FLA.

These are common programs. And they work, too.
