i recently read a book about actionscript with really cool effects created mostly with actionscript. The code was fairily easy to understand, especially cos it's well commented.
It made me think a little more outside of the box.
So, if you seen such tutorials with not too much of code (this means at most 100 lines of code) but with nice results ... link it in this topic so other users can see them too.

I've looked at that book too. Just wish there was a newer version targeted to the more recent versions of flash :-( oh well.

There are quite a few nice tutorials like that on http://www.actionscript.org but they've change the site format so they're a little harder to browse through.

Also quite a bit of nice scriptyness in the open source section of http://levitated.net/daily/index.html

http://gotoandlearn.com/

I love this site, check out the Creating a 3d Carousel. It requires almost no images in flash itself. Just a basic mask to apply over images. All Action Script. Just requires a xml file and a folder of images

http://www.nytrovil.com/carousel3.swf

thats a quick demo of what he has.

if anything that site is awesome just becuse it says 2advanced in the corner :D
