Hey

Can anyone help me create a pie which is made up of 8 different slices each with their own image.

The idea is to have the image turn grey when the mouse rolls over the image, but the problem is when I create the button it is creating a white "Square" background along with it, which is causing it to appear over the top of the other image and also make that image turn grey if it is in that "square".

Any help on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

custom button shape
as an additional wo what is written there, you can use the Pen Tool to create the shape

read again the post ... probably u missed some parts.
anyway, u have 2 options
1) create the images in photoshop or get them from wherever u want, save them as png and then in flash create shapes with alpha 0 over them
2) u need at least Flash MX for this :
import the image, drag it to stage, right click on it: break apart -> start to chop parts from it using the polygonal select tool.
