Creating a text file with Flash?

Hi, I'd like to create a text file whith flash. Is it possible?
I've been looking but I couldn't find anything.

If I can't, do you know if flash could ask something else to create this text file? (not PHP as it won't be online on a website, it will be on the computer as an .exe)

Look into Adobe AIR.

Or, if the SWF will be embeded in an EXE already in production, look into the ExternalInterface class of Flash.
