Differences between Flash MX 2004 and Profesional 8

Can someone please tell me what the difference is between Flash MX 2004, Flash MX and Flash Professional 8 ?

ok I guess a better question is.. do the majority of the browsers support Flash 8 Professional content or is it better to write to MX?

You can save most basic stuff in Flash 8 as Flash 7 or 6 or earlier, however to use some of the new components some files you'll have to save as Flash 8. As long as the viewer has Flash Player8 or higher installed they'll see the content just fine. You can save the files to include version detection that should automatically upgrade them if they are using an outdated version.
