Does flash have filters that can edit images like fireworks?

Is it possible to get flash filters (actionscript classes) that can edit can edit and add special effect to images just like fireworks filters. if there are such please let me know where i can download them or get infomation about them. since flash has blur, bevel, dropshadow filters, i believe there should be more filters that can be downloaded and added to it.

Flash 8 Pro has filters. I'm sure CS3 does too, although I don't own it to check. But the ones you mentioned are the only ones I'm aware of.

I'm not aware of any filters that you can "add" to flash in a plug-in sense. However, you can do just about anything you might need using actionscript and flash 8's BitmapData Class. Most of the cool tricks you see are done using the pixel level effects available from this class.
