Hi all,

I'm a newbie who's trying to do a very ambitious flash project...
Basically - i have filmed 6 scenes and i am making a website where the users almost edits them together for themselves.
I want to have the clips looping and playing and the ability for the user to drag and drop them into an order at the bottom of the page and then they play in that order top right...
can anyone point me in the right direction as i'm totally lost...
i know bits of code but i dont really know where to start with arrays...and the user being able to change the order of the clips playing.

Thanks a lot,
Rachel

First question is what version of Flash are you using? Second I would recommend reading up on actionscript. Keith Peters has book called "Foundation Actionscript 3.0 Animation: Making Things Move" that would be a good place to start with actionscript.

My advise would be to learn as much about how Actionscript works and then find tutorials to fill in the gaps with what you don't know.
If at first you don't succeed F1... If that doesn't work try Google!

Very good book there graphixboy.
You can also find the necessary actionscript classes for that book here.
“True mastery transcede any particular art. It stems from mastery of oneself - the ability, developed throgh self-discipline, to be calm, fully aware, and complety in tune with oneself and the surroundings. Then, and only then, can a person know himself. ”
