Hey :) Okay, so I'm using Flash MX 2004. I'm a beginner at this.

My problem: in my third scene I've got a dynamic text field. The user is asked to enter his name in the input box and when he / she does that, a message appears in a dynamic text box. This worked perfectly fine in a separate file. But in a third scene it doesn't. I think it's because I have to put a stop action in the scene to prevent it going back to scene 1 immediately. How the heck do I get that message to work and the scene to stay on screen at the same time? Where should I put the stop action?

Is this understandable? I tried to explain as good as possible but a. I'm new at Actionscript and b. I'm from Belgium so English is not my native language. I hope someone can help me with this.

btw, this: http://users.skynet.be/aryanaorion/1evi/begroeting.html is what it looks like in a separate file (and when it works)

I think you should try making it gotoAndStop to the third scene instead of gotoAndPlay. That way, you might not need a stop action.
