Can anyone give me some TIP's on how to get a Valid Page not using the <embed Tag in Flash for Netscape, I can get it to play but the width="500" height="480" is not working right, it may say 500x480 but it looking like 250x250 ?

Thanks
Paul

The way I understand it object embed was created for versions of IE that needed a different standard. Its not valid html/xhtml at all. I'd use a javascript placement solution.

A good one is available from: http://blog.deconcept.com/swfobject/

The Flash Satay method is another fairly popular solution that you may want to check out.

I like SWFObject. Works very well, and is valid.

In some ways I can get it to work but only in IE7, If I open the some page in Netscape I get a white box. Hmm

When I test my site I use 3 Web browsers, Only I know the error is there.

The <embed tag is the only error I have.
I'll keep at it.

Thanks all.
