Hi, I have just started teaching my self flash and action script.
I have made a few videos, they are not verry good but there okay.

I am having problemswith importing images, if I create a graphic in Paint Shop Pro with transparent background and copy and paste or save as a gif and import the background appears white.
What can I do?

Thanks Eddie

save it as png and then import it.

I not a Flash expert but, I think streaming imports the sound from an external source and/or library and Loop will repeat an embeded sound a specific number of times.

thank you sir .... but heres a question in my mind .........we can give loop to dat sound which we import from an external ............and through this chemistry ........ we cant say dat the external source sound is da streaming sound ........ cause after dat process its convert in to loops ........... am beginner may be i wrong but i think dat the button sound or special effect sound is called stream sound ......... cause they play once ......... cause we do not give them loop ............... am still confussed ...

loop sound .? sounds like it is , i think you mean the one embed within your movie , in your library ( will be counted in the file size when you export your movie ) ...

streaming is external Music like an mp3 that you are downloading progressively e.g ( a flash MP3 player ) ... actually flash has its own streaming server ... * i think ...

same goes for videos u can embed em within flash ...
or just convert them to FLV format and stream / progressive download it ...
something like MetaCafe and Youtube .
