how can i convert xml to action script or ac to convert xml ?

not sure i understand what exactly you`re trying to achieve.

if you want to read an xml which contains action script functions, then you need to create a script parser which will definetly take some time. It`s like reinventing flash actionscript again ... using actionscript :p

i dont hve experince in xml .... i want to use xml in my new project i want that i type actionscript and then convert it into xml ...........datz y am searching a converter like java to actionscript converter......

i want to use mathamatical equations in action script .......... could u please tell how can i do paractise for it ........... do u know about any good tutorial ?

you were asking about XML .. in Kirupa.com there are many XML tutorials xellent really ...

Basic use of xml in flash is that you can load information from it During flash runTime , 2 common reasons ..

1- they wont load unless the user asks for it ( reduce the main Flash site size) .
2- You can always add delete correct information from the XML without the need of editing the FLA source .


gotoandlearn.com has an xml VID tutorial ... not sure its still there but if you can watch it , it'll answer your questions ...

but since you are new to Programming over all , you should start frm 0 , if u get a good BASE then everythin becomes easy ... so you should start by knowing dataTypes loops basic functions etc ...

all can be found from that book ...

now if you can get your hands on Lynda.com Action script video tutorials that would be gr8 ... they aint free though ..
