ok, here is what im trying to achive. Go to http://www.cmdf.org.my

When i click the 'capital market development fund', a dropdown menu appears with background, establishment, etc...

Ok, after clicking 'background' a new page comes out but the dropdown menu resets back to its original post.

What im trying to do is make the drop-down menu view stays open after clicking the 'background' page. Is there any way?? :?

If you want a simple answer, you can use iframes and then just target the frame with your flash file. This would prevent the page from reloading and reseting your flash movie back to the beginning.

Or. .

You can use a variable to store the page location of your menu system and pass this variable to javascript etc. . . .

I have a sample that uses a html menu but you could easily target the iframe through a flash file.

You will use the iframe in your html code.

Your flash file will then target the iframe.
