Post 3+ Months Ago

Hi
I know that this kind of concept has been mentioned on this forum before, but here goes, I need a tutorial that will show me how to "in flash" to have 1 image of like lets say a baby shelf with a bottle, a rattle, and a pot on it. I need it to when you scroll over the bottle in the image it pops up another image of a bottle by itself with like a description of what it is. Is this possible to do? and if so how do i go about doing this?

Thank You very much

no I was just wondering if someone on here would know how to go about doing that. See our business doesn't really need a cart, but it would be like that, but in e-mail form I suppose.

well one really simple way would to cut out the bottle itself and repaste it and it would have the on (rollOver) { } event and have it load an image at its _xmouse and _ymouse position so here goes:

create that bottle pikture and description whatever form u want, then select it all and press f8, select movie clip and register the botom left (that 9 pined thing) and give it a instance name (i used test here)

then paste the bottle you want to be roled over and convert it into a movie clip too, (registry and name doesnt matter here) and place this code:

on (rollOver) {
import mx.transitions.Tween;
_root.test._x = _xmouse;
_root.test._y = _ymouse;
var tw3:Tween = new Tween(test,"_alpha",Strong.easeOut,0,100,1,true);

}

on (rollOut) {
_root.test._x = 10000;
_root.test._y = 10000;
var tw3:Tween = new Tween(test,"_alpha",Strong.easeOut,100,0,1,true);
}

test is your movie clip instace name

this is really simple and quick to load, u can use load functions but i was lazy here
