I found this somewhere before but i can't find it now and i searched google and here thouroughly.

I know theres a way to make an exe with Flash that will open a website when it is launched.

I already have the autorun ini file, just need to mek the exe with flash.

If you could point me to tutorial or post here how to do it I would much appreciate.

Thanks!

I'm confused to your question.

Are you inquiring how to make a projector file (.exe)? Or how to launch an HTML file from the projector file?

If it is making the .exe file, do that in the publish settings.

If it is launching an HTML file.. use getURL(). If the getURL points to an HTML file on the cd, it will launch the file from the cd. Just use a relative path.

Code: [ Select ]
[AUTORUN]
OPEN=YourFlashProjectorFile.exe
  1. [AUTORUN]
  2. OPEN=YourFlashProjectorFile.exe

save it in a file called autorun.inf

I believe you can also specify icons and a few other things in that file but you'll have to go searching for a full spec.

Note this will only work on a PC. Apple has disabled all autorun features in OSX

Optimizing their code and making their software secure are 2 totally seperate things :P
